Performance enhancers go back as early as the first Olympic games of the ancient world were held. Notes were preserved confirming that some athletes used different herbal preparations as well as experimented with only red meat diet. Some went as far as eating raw sheep or goat testicles in search for top athletic performance.

Though steroids were first discovered in the 1930′s they did not become a major factor in sports until the fiftytwo Olympic games that were held in the capital city of Finland Helsinki. It was the first appearance of Russians on the Olympic games and thanks to anabolic steroid supplementation they became the dominant nation in all strength related sports. Their dominance further developed two years later on the world weightlifting championship where they took home most of the gold as well as silver and bronze medals. The Russians were allegedly using different forms of testosterone; enanthate, cypionate, propionate or testosterone suspension. Other medications that are popular today; anavar, winstrol, clenbuterol and deca durabolin came into play at a later stage. Due to the cold war in it’s full swing USA athletes had to retaliate and that is how Dianabol – methandrostenolone was born. Dr. Ziegler was the head of medical staff for the USA Olympic team and he is to this day considered as father of modern anabolic steroids. Sport in past and even more today is all about performance, the pie is only given to those at the very top, with only few bread crumbs left for the rest. Along with reaching ones potential and delivering top performance; being faster, stronger, pushing the bar higher, there are also other concerns, prevention of injuries, faster recouperation and rehabilitation, better and faster healing and possibility of lengthening ones sports career. The public wants to see modern day heroes achiving exceptional results and all of that hype converts to higher earnings for the atletes, as well as those in the background from owners of clubs, menagers, trainers, event organizers, organizations, advertisers. In short the whole nation benefits from record breaking achievements, with the fact that they are being achieved with the help of sustanon, trenbolone or anadrol being low on the priority list.

If you are interested in dianabol for sale or sustanon, dianabol, anadrol or any other performance enhancer visit http://www.cvs-rx-dir.com .

Dianabol or chemically methandrostenolone was the first steroid made in the USA and first steroid that was not a straight testosterone. Dianabol proved very effective with American athletes regaining good ranks in strength related events and succesfully rivaling the Russians. Others noticed this and East Germany was the country that took it to the next level with administering testosterone to the complete olympic team, males and females. The East German performance enhancing program resulted in East German athletes winning many gold medals in decades to come. Many other drugs were experimented with from alcohol to cocaine, nitrogliceryne or even strichinine, though no other compuned to date has proved near as effective as anabolic steroids. Because top placings and breaking records along with turning that into money is all the professional sports are about anabolic steroids use fast became very wide spread. By the end of the sixties the sportsmen were able to live off their sport only, which made them even more willing to take synthetic male hormones and their derivatives. Ban on anabolic steroid use in sports came from moral and ethics reather than health concerns. With reasearch going the way of reaching best result with fewest possible side effects preferably undetected by ever spreading testing, anabolic steroids became more and more sofisticated with nandrolone decanoate – deca durabolin and methenolone enanthate – primobolan depot being introduced. Compettitive bodybuilding also became a very popular sport in the 1970 with actors like current governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone being the role model for spreading anabolic steroid use in the community through major Hollywood motion picture releases. Holywood movies helped spread cosmetic anabolic steroid making it a world wide phenomenon. Anadrol, anavar, deca durabolin became hosehold names and use has spread to high schools, though the use has been relatively steady in the last 2 decades and does not seem to spread further.

Anabolic steroid information: buy deca durabolin or purchase sustanon, dianabol, anadrol or any other performance enhancer http://www.cvs-rx-dir.com .

Major League Baseball was the last of sports organizations that implemented drug testing in USA. The culprit was Mark McGwire that was using a prohormone called androstendione that has the ability to convert to testosterone once in the human body. Mark McGuire had a record run that year and eventualy broke the home run record that held it’s own for decades. Later Ken Caminiti told the public that he was using anabolic steroids and claimed that at least half of the players are using testosterone, deca durabolin, winstrol, anavar, trenbolone and other anabolic steroids along with HGH and clenbuterol, Jose Conseco later extended that number to over eighty percent while at the same time confessing that he was an avid user himself. Than came Jason Giambi and Barry Bonds that were involved in the BALCO scandal, they admited the use of testosterone depot, human growth hormone, testosterone cream / gel as well as abuse of numerous other anabolic steroids. The media frenzy regarding steroid use in baseball resulted in much higher ticket sales and renewed interest for baseball. Sports on a large scale has benefited from anabolic steroids, of course training methods, nutrition and homerun friendly left field lines contributed their part. But roids as they are popularly called are a major part of the puzzle that lead us to the home run era that we are enjoying today. Best baseball players as well as other major sports players use anabolic steroids. The multi billion industry that is sports today makes sure, that every positive thing that can benefit the ticket sales, generate TV audiences and in turn give higher profits is utilized. Anabolic steroids are no exception and will be used for as long as athletes can get away with it.

The picture in football is not much different, when you look at the difference in bodyweight of top high school athletes from 1960 to 1970 you see that the weight index stayed more or less the same, but when you make an observation in years 1971 – 1988 the difference is staggering. The weight has gone way up, with the median being 25 pounds which can not be overlooked. Testosterone cypionate, deca durabolin, primobolan, equipoise, dianabol, trenbolone.. are the prime steroids used for muscle gain. The difference is even bigger when we looke at national football league linemen, that share a median weight of over 300 pounds while two decades ago they were only around 250 pounds. Lyle Alzado, Bil Romanowski that was also a part of the BALCO scandal, Bill Conte all admited to using anabolic steroids. Football is a man’s sport and probably one of the most competitive ones, strength, speed and sheer muscle mass is what makes one player better than the other and that is another reason why football players will use anabolic steroids as long as they can get away with it. Another highly publicized athlete that got cought using steroids was Canadian sprinter Ben Johnson that broke the world 100 meter sprint record. His tests were positive for anabolic steroid stanozolol or Winstrol that is produced by Zambon now Desma of Spain. The fact remains that anabolic steroids primobolan depot, parabolan, dianabol, anadrol, deca durabolin, anavar or oxandolone, equipoise, testosterone cypionate, sustanon all build huge muscles. They increase strength, speed and stamina, aid recouperation and rehabilitation and help the athletes in achiving top results which all translates to better, longer and above all more lucrative careers for any athlete using them. Benefits extend to the owners of clubs and leagues and that is why anabolic steroids are here to stay for at least as long as athletes can get away with it. The question is what will replace them, some say that dianabol also called „the breakfast of champions” will become obsolete with gene doping. But, as history has showed with Marion Jones the 100 meter sprinter that ruled track and field throughout the ninetys along with her husband champion shot putter C.J. Hunter who among others also tested positive for deca durabolin as traces of nandrolone decanoate and it’s metabolites were found in their blood. Even geneticly incredibly talented athletes, some would say genetic freaks like current 100 meter world record holder Ussain Bolt can still benefit and further develop their skill with anabolic steroids.

It was not exactly a record-breaking year but the 2009 Simplot Games at Idaho State University’s Holt Arena in Pocatello still showcases some of the nation’s best high school talent.

This year’s indoor meet did not produce a national record for the first time in 3 years. Jackie Coward of Tennessee clocked 8.18 to set the national 60-Meter Hurdle record in 2008, and Bianca Knight of Mississippi ran 22.97 to set the national 200-Meter record in 2007. These two records and two more from 2004—Elzie Coleman’s 45.92 in the 400 Meter and Ashley Owens’ 7.19 in the 60 Meter—still stand.

The Simplot Games and Idaho State’s noisy, old banked-board track at Holt Arena still draws prep athletes from around the nation. The Arena, built in 1970 and seating 12,000, was the nation’s first domed stadium on a collegiate campus, and the world’s second indoor football stadium after the Houston Astrodome, pretty heady stuff for Pocatello, Idaho.

The Simplot Games feature the biggest indoor track and field meet in the West, the largest indoor high school meet in the West, and would not happen without the sponsorship and support of the J. R. Simplot Company.

The Track Eastern Carolina team from New Bern in North Carolina led the way this year by setting the only two meet records by winning the Sprint Medley Relay in 3:26.28 and the 4×200 Relay in 1:27.60.

In the Sprint Medley, Andrew Hendrix ran the opening 400 leg in 48.72, and following the two 200 legs by Fuqauwn Greene and Mike Sparks and a bobbled baton exchange, Anthony (not Andrew) Hendrix ran the 800 leg in 1:54.33 to break the 3:27.80 record previously held by Muir High School of Pasendena, CA.

In the 4×200 Relay, Fuqauwn Greene ran the opening leg in 21.72, followed by Mike Sparks (22.28), Arthur Hendrix (21.91) and Andrew Hendrix (21.69) as the Track Eastern Carolina team broke its own meet record of 1:27.96 set in the 2004 meet.

Perhaps the outstanding individual of the meet was Kyle Macintosh of ATS Elite in Littleton (CO). Macintosh won the 60 Hurdles in 7.90, won the 400 Meter in 48.06, and anchored the ATS Elite team that won the 4×400 in 3:20.98. Running for ATS Elite was Kevin Scheuerman, Kumar Pinkney and Nate Guthals; Macintosh ended a close race by running the 3rd leg in 49.04.

Other outstanding performances at the meet included:

Ashton Purvis of St. Elizabeth high school in Oakland (CA) recorded a sprint double by winning the 60 Meters in 7.47 and the 200 Meter in 23.99. Purvis, only a junior, won both events last year and has now positioned herself to become a 3-time sprint double champion.

Ciarra Brewer of James Logan in Union City (CA) went 41-6 (41 feet, 6 inches) in winning the Triple Jump, setting a national sophomore class record in the process.

Trinity Wilson of St. Mary’s in Berkeley (CA) clocked 8.44 to win the 60-Meter Hurdles, setting a national freshman class record in the process.

Anna Jelmini of Shafter (CA) had progressively better throws before recording a 51-5 to win the Shot Put, the first female to top 50 feet this year.

If you are into the sports that are part of track and field, it is important to make sure you get the right shoe. Running shoes are the most important piece of equipment a track lover can purchase. It is important that you, like the pros, spend some time checking out shoes until you find the best running shoes for your individual feet. Despite the temptation, it is vitally important that you avoid buying shoes that simply look good. You need to look for shoes that are going to be right for your feet and your track event. Fashion should, at best, be a secondary factor in your decision.

Once you know that it is important to choose the right running or track shoe, you need to know what it is that you are searching for in your shoe. First of all, you have to realize that shoes for a track and shoes for road and trail running are totally different. One type is made for a nice flat track and the other is made to deal with wet, uneven ground.

If you have the wrong shoe, improperly fitting shoes, or any shoe not proper for your activity, you are putting yourself in danger of injury. Track shoes need to be perfect for your feet or they are just a waste of your money.

When your feet touch the ground, they will roll either towards the outside or for some, towards the inside of the foot. You can find out what you do by checking out the wear on the soles of your current shoes. If your shoes wear out on the outside first, you are under-pronating. On the other hand, if you are wearing out the inside of your shoe more, then you are an over-pronator. If your shoes are not worn, have a fellow track runner watch you run from behind to look and see what you are doing. It is important to know what type of pronator you are so that you can get the right track shoes.

Once you do that, you can determine what you need in a track shoe. If you are a neutral pronator you need a shoe with balance and a flexible makeup. If you under-pronate you will need a well-cushioned shoe. If you are a moderate pronator you will need something with heavy stability. Finally if you are a severe over-pronator you will want what are called motion control training shoes.

Once you have sorted out what kind of track running you are going to do and what kind of pronator you are, you have to consider the fit of the shoe. The best way to tell if a track shoe fits well is to try it on and see if it feels good. Always make sure you try on any shoe you are considering buying.

When it comes to track running, the type of shoe you use is of the utmost importance. No matter what you are doing, you should find the shoe that is the best for your foot. It should first of all be able protect your foot based on what type of running you will be doing. Lastly, make sure you try the shoe on so that you get one that fits properly and will allow you to run the track in comfort.

Competing in track and field is different from the more traditional sports, in which the start of the game signifies the beginning of competition. When the umpire yells “Play Ball” in baseball or when a referee throws up a basketball at half court to begin a basketball game; both of these gestures are well recognized by the athletes that play will begin. The same is not true for the track and field athlete, in particular an individual competing in the throwing disciplines. This is due to having an order of events and time table to help the athlete understand when they are to begin, therefore there may be significant down time between the start of the meet and the athlete’s event.

In order to bring clarity to the athlete whom may be competing in the throwing events, three easy to remember steps are outlined to create an environment for success. These three steps are: arrive early, warm up and perform all three which will be detailed in the following paragraphs.

Do not arrive to track and field meets late. Allow yourself enough time to find a spot to be situated, in which you can hear the announcer, and have enough time to check in. When you arrive, find out when an implement must be weighed in, or how much time prior to your event you must check in.

Similar to your early arrival, allow enough time to warm up prior to the competition. At the time of arrival, you should place your equipment and belongings where your team is, or in the area in which you will be competing. Perform a general warm-up in which you will use to loosen up the stiffened limbs from travelling.

Prior to your event, you will now perform event specific warm-up routine. This should begin approximately 20-minutes prior to the start of your heat or flight. Now begin to perform dynamic stretches, such as low-impact bounds, that will warm the body and stretch the muscle.

At the track meet is the time to perform, you should only be fine tuning your efforts. During the warm up portion of your flight, usually about 15-minutes in time, you should perform a series of practice throws, in which you progress up until competition time. Usually with a field of 10 to 12 competitors in a flight, the athlete should be able to use the time efficiently by eagerly moving into the circle, making sure they are allowing enough time for practice throws, and anticipating their throws in succession to produce an outstanding result. The athlete during warm-ups will take one to two standing throws, and the one to two progression drills and lastly one to two full form throws. The athlete should use this progress in order to communicate with the coach, to understand and gain feedback from your performances. Envision each attempt, in your mind, to help alleviate stress, and help heighten your sense of bodily awareness. Remember to continue to stay warm, place an article of clothing on if needed, and continue to perform low impact movements to generate body heat, but not to develop fatigue.

Lastly the track meet and competition is a place to try and obtain your maximum throw or result. While you are performing for measurements, perform the skill in which you will benefit the must from. In the shot put event for example; do not perform a standing throwing, as this will greatly restrict your movement and is used primarily as a warm up skill, the athlete thus should be performing either the glide or rotational technique.

If you are to follow these four simple rules and you will sure to finish with consistent improvement throughout the season.

I started out with track and field in high school and I was dedicated throughout the years and thought I knew what I was doing. After watching the track and field legend video training seminar I quickly found out there was much more for me to learn. Things were explained such as specific sprint training, track equipment, track workouts, all the various track field events.

I started out of course with the free exclusive training manuals taught by coach’s tom tellez and dan pfaff. But after that I needed more and there wasn’t much left to stop me. So I bought the whole track and field legends with no regret. Ive shopped around for this kind of information on the web before, and it was a big difference more than the deal I got it for. I’ve seen thing’s offering this kind of invaluable information for around 0-300 at least. So I definitely got a good price on it.

There’s over 7.5 hours of video I got to watch and listen to the top two coaches in the world! That kind of information is priceless for people like me! I have been taught things I thought I learned the right way but can see how they could have been improved, special rules I didn’t quite understand when determine block spacing. Things I thought I was working on were a waste of time, and now I know what to work on to further my goal. Everything about my training exercises to actually doing events out on the track and field has increased dramatically all thanks to this wonderful program. If I had gotten this right when I started out it’s hard to imagine how much better I would even be now! If I hadn’t run into this package I wouldn’t be nearly as experienced as I am now. I recommend checking this out to anyone interested in getting better at track and field! http://bit.ly/eCEalc

The history of track and field traces back to the earliest of times. People have been walking, running or throwing things since the beginning of man. Competition as a natural means of manhood took root and individuals began to run against one another. The first race of record is noted to have taken place at the first Olympic Festival in Ancient Rome in 776 B.C. It was said to have been a stadium race or one length around the stadium.

During these times the Olympics remained the main stage for all track and field events and it only showcased such events every four years. The events began to evolve over the centuries as a number of new track competitions were incorporated as well as non track and field events. The pentathlon consisting of five events, boxing, wrestling and foot races of varying length were installed into the early Olympics. It is often said that the ancient Roman and Greek warriors often incorporated running into there training. Daily doses of running through hills, jousting, wrestling and hand to hand combat were routine forms of training.

It wasn’t until the eighteen hundreds that the history of track and field began to formally organize as grade schools and Universities began to incorporate daily exercise and running routines. Track and Field history was so evidently rooted in Ancient Greek and Roman times then it slowly began to evolve into English culture. It was said that the first college competition was held between Oxford and Cambridge in 1864.

Track and field began to modernize around the time of the first modern day Olympic Games in 1896. Modern day track and field events take place around a four hundred meter track and the remaining field events are usually occurring at the same time inside that track.

It was around the early 1900’s that a number of leagues and associations began to form. International and domestic leagues began and held the athletes amateur status so that they could compete in the Olympics. Despite this the sport continued to grow in the early years and held the first NCAA Championships in 1921.

Ironically one of track and fields most popular events the marathon wasn’t even introduced until the 1896 games in Athens, Greece. It got the name marathon as the race started in the town of Marathon and continued on to the Olympic Stadium.

Track and field continued to deal with the issues of amateur status among its athletes for years to come and it held back the development of the sport. It wasn’t until 1970’s that the professional stature was formed so that athletes can compete annually in events while getting paid and still be able to compete in the Olympics.

Track and Field history has seen an evolution involving the running surfaces, shoes and types of races. The sport continues to grow at the amateur and professional level and is highlighted by the Olympics every four years…So goes the history of track and field.
