3 Foods That Build Larger Muscles

Posted on 2847 March 2010 by JaMi in Uncategorized

Every body builder knows that food is an important thing. But what most body builders and muscle wannabe-havers don’t seem to realize is that food does not build larger muscle. Food “helps” build larger muscles. It does not “build” larger muscles all on its own. What truly builds muscle is the workout. But obviously food is still important and here are 3 that will help you…

1. Flaxseeds
Flax seeds are one of the most nutrient-packed plant food on the planet. Flaxseeds contain omega-3 fatty acids along with a great marriage of fiber and healthy fat. Flaxseeds are ideal for those body builders who want to lose weight. Once you have less weight your body is better-able to focus on developing larger muscle mass. So it makes sense to eat as much flaxseed as you can.

2. Salmon
In case you did not know, salmon is a fish. It is considered to by a rich source of omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3 is a huge life saver when it comes to building larger muscle because it acts as protein and can usually help you recover faster from your intense workouts.

3. And These Specific Tomato Produce’s:
One of the funniest things about tomatoes is that they actually become even more powerful and helpful when they go through manufacturing and processing. Specifically the antioxidantpower in tomatoes is increased.  The specific tomato products you need to consume include salsa, ketchup, tomato juice and tomato pasta. Antioxidants tend to slow down oxidation which can result in larger muscle gain. But having too much antioxidants can actually be bad, so keep it balanced.
